Vintage Stock Tickers Back to Rewinder Page
As far as I can tell, this was Bunnell's final clockwork model, before moving on to motor driven rewinders.
It had a much bigger reel to accommodate the bigger and faster machines coming out after the 1929 crash.
The outer plate of the paper reel could be unscrewed and reversed to fit larger width paper.
And although the reel is larger, the overall height is an inch shorter than previous models.
It came in Black or Olive Green and had Little Rubber Feet
The Internal Parts are Basically the Same as the Older Models, but the Gears are Repositioned to Make it More Compact.
They kept the wooden spool at the center of the paper reel, but added a metal spring for quick paper changing.
The Black Winder came First and had a Brass Plate on the Back
The Olive Green Winder had an Aluminum Plate on the Back
